Prom boutique

It is that time of year again. In January, we will be starting our fundraising campaign for the 2011 Prom boutique. Our organization depend on support from sponsors and individuals that support our mission. Please donate, even if only a $1 and encourage friends and family to do the same. Thank you for your continued support and encouragement.

Whining

I'm exhausted. So much to do, so little time. My throat hurts. Baby has an earache. Contacts are dry. It will be another day soon.

Dress drive total count

We have counted over 203 dresses, 30 pairs of shoes, 25 evening bags, and 10 pairs of miscellaneous accessories that have been donated! Still waiting for word from 1 other drop off. Agnes scott college put boxes out for us and they have told us that alot of girls are planning to go home during spring break and come back with dresses as well. This turned out so much better than I could have ever imagined. This right now has our total to 403 dresses. Not too shabby for our first year I think. I'm so tickled. Again, a sincere thank you to everyone that has supported us in any way. We would not be able to do what we do without you.

Office Live Mail

Office Live Mail: "We actually have 2 dress drives going on this morning.
One collected over 260 gowns and are still counting - the other is being held at a university nearby and they have over 40!
Two awesome ladies organized these for us, outside of our regular dress drive that starts in a few weeks.

Office Live Mail: "Caitlin's Closet received around 100 in Jacksonville, FL. Thanks for letting us be a part of this!!"

Thank you to all supporters

We would like to give a huge and heartfelt thank you to each and everyone who contributed to the prom dress drive on Friday for Dress of my dreams. With your help, we have counted over 159 dresses with more to go. This does not include the shoes, purses, and accessories that were donated as well. Whether you donated, told a friend, read the article in the paper and showed someone, tweeted, etc. You were a blessing to our organization. Our national event is over but we still collect dresses at our main location in Stone Mountain year round. We now have over 350 dresses to distribute to high school girls in financial need for prom. If you are in need of volunteer hours or just want to help be a part of something great, please help us sort, size and distribute during our prom boutique. Again, thank you. T. 24 hour prom dress collection drive over

Whew! Over 159 dresses collected and more to go. Final numbers on Monday with pics. Helen donated a dress today but did not want a picture taken, she would like a prayer said for her instead. I think we can do that.
